The NYPD Finest Football team plays in the National Public Safety Football League consisting of twenty-six Police, Fire and Public Safety teams from across the country. Recently the Finest traveled to Pasadena to play the LA Heat at the Rose Bowl. A historic gridiron showdown for both highly regarded teams. After a hard fought first half, the Finest scored twice in the second half for a 14-0 victory. Members of the Emerald Society Pipe Band traveled with the team supplying inspirational tunes for the Finest Team. Pictured here are the Band, National President and one of the coaches Joe Keenan, Emerald Society Board Officer Patrick Donohue and team members who are also Emerald Society members.
