Joseph Keenan Elected President of the National Conference of Law Enforcement Emerald Societies May 18, 2011 Congratulations and well wishes go out to our Past President Joe Keenan on his election to NCLEES President. Keenan served as President of the NYPD Emerald Society during 2000 & 2001. He will now lead the Nationals with a 3 year term that starts immediately. Joe has become well known in recent times for his "Dollar Bucket" that he uses to solicit contributions to the National Police Memorial. Through his efforts thousands of dollars have been raised for this worthy cause. His first order of business at the National may be the creation of a "National Dollar Bucket!" NCLEES certainly has chosen a man with great leadership skills and a proven track record. The next 3 years should be memorable as Keenan leads the way!
